After a D&C?

I just had my first d%26amp;C yesterday (after a miscarriage) I have very little bleeding and some cramping. (nothing that the pains pills don't take care of) But, I feel like I have been hit by a train! Every muscles in my body hurts! And mainly my neck. That was the first pain I felt when I woke up in the recovery room. Even my arms hurt..........has anyone else had this happen to them? Or I would love any thoughts and advice that you my have.

After a D%26amp;C?
This could be emotinal induced pain due to the stress on your body because of the loss of the baby. My sympathy as well to you. It is hard and your emotional state can make your body ache terribly, talk to the doctors your body is trying to adjust to the trauma of the loss as well as your emotions.. the combination could just be making you ache.

I was sore after my d %26amp; c it was in my back and shoulders ...

let the doc's know what is going on ..

I am sorry for the loss....

keep your chin up!
Reply:yes,I had one due to miscarriage. No bleeding a little after the first time hubby and i had sex 2 weeks later. But your neck and back will hurt from lying on the or table and the breathing tube they put in.I am sorry
Reply:I've had 2 m/c and 2 d%26amp;c. With the 1st d%26amp;c I had minimal bleeding for 2 days and no pain. With the 2nd one I bled for 2 weeks afterwards but no pain.
Reply:were you nervous about the procedure? you may have been tensing all of the muscles in your body. i get like that after having blood drawn or a cavity filled at the dentist. it may also be the position you were in during the procedure made your muscles tighten up, like if you sleep wrong.

i am very sorry for your loss and wish you a speedy recovery!
Reply:I didn't have any pain other than the stomach pain.
Reply:sorry for your loss. I had a D%26amp;C and only had cramping afterwards, no other real pain.

MAYBE your muscle aches are from the position you were in during the procedure or a reaction from the anesthesia used.
