You can take the MARC train that runs out of Balto's Penn Station and goes to Union Station in D.C. There are several trains per day.

It really depends on where you are getting on and off. The Marc train goes I think. Go to www.mtamaryland.com that is the Maryland tranist authority website. That should help you out.
