When I was in Basic Training, it has been a good few years ago, why in the name of god was there a bigass Oak tree out side of the C.S. chamber, knowing good and well that someone was going to run into it as soon as they got out?
C.S. Gas chambers and Oak trees.......?
haha! nice. Kind of reminds me how a typical way to clear OC off your face is to dunk it in water. One guy put his head in the bucket... just didn't pull out, they had to do CPR after he stopped breathing. Military inginuity at its best!
Reply:It was a great source of comic relief...
Reply:Because your BT Company and Battalion NBC NCO were having to stay inside the CS chamber without masks all day long while an entire battalion went through.
They need a bit of comic relief in return.
Reply:they do that s. hit on purpose.
its funnay
Reply:That wasn't accidental, as everyone else has stated. However, I don't think it was for comedy, I think it was a lesson to every single recruit in "self control."
Even when things are a little bad you still have to pay attention to where you're going.
Yes, I said "a little bad." I like CS, it helps clean out my sinuses. I once recited the NCO Creed while unmasked in a chamber. About a year later, I bet the NBC NCO that I could do 20 pushups in there, unmasked. I ended up doing 30 because he wanted "double or nothing."
