Is a highly trained Navy Seal able to fight in u.f.c???
and wich is stronger: a Navy Seal or the ice man??? from u.f.c
Navy Seal %26amp; U.F.C Question???
I'd have to put my money on SEAL because the fighting style they learn is not only to defend themselves but to dibilatate, disarm, and incapacitate the other opponent as opposed to a UFC fighters brawling techniques. Also, some SEAL's and other military members have fighting UFC-style competitions.
Reply:The Teams are taught Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai, they are highly dis-couraged from going into tournaments due to the fact that if they get injured they cannot train or deploy for a period of time. Also, unless someone can dedicate themselves full time to train there is no way they could go into the UFC, guys in the SpecOps Field do not have anywhere near the time to train for something like that.
Reply:A Navy SEAL is not some kind of lethal killer with his bare hands..Yes they do know some hand to hand combat but they prefer to kill with a weapon from a distance..On any given day anyone can beat anyone up...Have you ever seen a SEAL as a boxing champion? NO because they posses different types of skills..
Reply:you know actually at fort campbell the big huge dude with the blonde hair. He was training the Special Forces guys on some new technique that was being used in UFC. It was like in 04-05 sometime arounf there. But I'm not picking sides, deltaforce will kill all.
Reply:The pink fairy will win..... I'm sorry this is a dumb question and as such should only encourage dumb answers...
That's like saying who would win in a bake off between a baker and a navy SEAL? Probably the baker, but then again maybe the Navy SEAL likes to bake in his spare time so they are good...
In all seriousness a MMA fighter is a professional athlete that trains just for competition, just as the Navy SEAL is a professional soldier and trains just for the parameters of their job, they would most likely do better than the average citizen but this is not their primary function therefore their training and conditioning is in other areas.
A SEAL would not beat an olympic spinter, hell, even with all of their sim training they'd probably have a hard time beating most swimmers.
Reply:Ok, UFC is a different fighting style than what the military, ie Navy Seals, etc train for. Most MMA fighters study muai thai, boxing, jiu jistu and wrestling. A good number of techniques they use are applicable on the streets but there's a difference, there are rules in the Octagon for safety reasons. Military style hand to hand combat incorporates different forms of martial arts BUT it is based mostly from Krav Maga, style of martial arts which is solely for military and street combat NOT competition fights, ie: strikes to the groin, neck, wpns disarming, etc. This is why you seldom see anyone training in this particular combat style in martial arts compete in the MMA because the styles are different. Of course if you put a Navy Seal in the octagon, he probably won't stand a chance against any UFC fighter, much less ice man. Now, put a UFC fighter in any combat scenario in a combat environment against a Navy SEAL and the Navy Seal would most likely win.
Reply:anyone is able to fight in the ufc you just have to have the motivation to want to do it.
it depends......there are alot of different types of stronger. fighting, i would say the ice man but there is always that lucky punch. mental strength navy seal hands down.
