Split training dvd and rejoin back again?

I have a Tachograph and driving regulations training DVD, it lasts about 40 mins however their is items on it that we don't require (ferry crossings and foreign rules e.t.c)


I need to split the dvd up and reburn onto a blank disk with the clips of the dvd which are revelant to our department, minus the stuff which i don't want (take about 15 mins out and probably stop our drivers falling to sleep watching it)


Just to note, i am competent in using DVD decypter and similar programs like DVD2ONE. Can i use these programs to break the disk down? Or does any recommend some better software?

I'd use DVD Shrink to split it (use the remaster function).


Then if you want to merge them I use VOBMerge, but you could just burn them with Infrarecorder.
