What is the chance of acquiring a training contract from Clifford chance?

I graduated from Leeds university. I earned a first class LLB degree. However i did average for my year 1...with 3 B's and 2 C's; and 1 A and 2 B's for A-level. What is the chance of successfully acquiring a training contract from clifford chance. Note that I am a chinese and I was not active in extra-curricular activities. What exactly do Clifford Chance look for in shortlisting applicants for training contracts?

The fact that you have a 1st LLB is excellent news. However, your chances to get a training contract without any form of work experience will go very much against you. I would suggest you offer to do as much voluntary work as you can within a legal environment and if you still not get a contract from Clifford you will have to either try to get a contract with another firm or take a paralegal position to give you some work experience and then apply next year.
