Does C.R. England Trucking make you pay for your gas or does the company pay for the gasoline (diesel) used?

After your training at their 2 to 6 week training school do they require you to pay for your own gas or does the company pay for that themselves? I have heard of some companies making the truck driver pay for it out of their own pocket but I am thinking of going into truck driving and I know it'd be too much out of my own paychecks to do that.

If you're a company driver (aka you drive for CR England all the time and you're a paid company employee) then the company will provide you with a fuel card and pay for all the fuel, maintenance, etc. on your truck. If you're an owner-operator (like an independent contractor who chooses individual loads to pick up and isn't a company employee) you'll have to pay for all those things yourself.
Reply:I have been driving for 17yrs now and the companies I have work for have always paid for the fuel for the trucks.
Reply:You would get a fuel card and they ill pay for the fuel. The only drivers that pay for there own fuel are Owner Operators
