Mr. Srinivasn President of AICF and Srinivasn Treaserer of BCCI are same person I am told... Chennai has picked up Dhone for 6 crores .... and AICF president is offering Grand Master Rs.1000/- for a day..... This is how Top brass of Chess in India think of chess players......
Reply:It is absolutly right. If Grand Masters are paid Rs.1000/- for a day , parents will certainly hesitate to pay Rs.100/- for an hour to us.
Reply:It is sad picture of every association in India. One who runs the Federations Assocations themselves do not value their own people. Why did Indian Chess Federation has not tied up with any of these big mobile service providers till now....
Reply:Chess coaches will have very tuff time to convince parents about their coaching fee.

There are only 100 Rated players with rating above 2300 and only 16 GM and 60 odd IMs. AICF should have send a letter directly to them instead of issuing a general circular...
