Here is the hypothetical promise:
If the Flames don't win the Stanley Cup in 2007, I will dress up in pajamas with the winning team's logo on them and sing The Hockey Song on all of the C-Train platforms in downtown Calgary during rush hour.
I haven't made this promise yet; I am just looking for feedback.
Should I make this promise...?
no, unless your going to accompany yourself on guitar.
Reply:only if I were drunk, also maybe there might have to be a dare from somebody else paying me $$$$ if I did it.
Reply:Couple of questions:
Do you get to accept tips?
Will you be drunk?
Guess it depends on your humiliation factor -- but the biggest question you left out is, what happens if the Flames win the Cup? What will somebody else have to do?
Having said all that, I'd have a hard time taking that bet. The West is so loaded this year that I think whoever comes out of the West will have a hard time beating the Sabres or whoever comes out of the East.
Reply:yes, make the promise. if they loose at least everyone will have a good laugh!
Reply:Ill look for you
Reply:Well I personally hate the flames but I feel that you would be looking for an *** kicking if you were to do this. But if you have big enough balls I guess it would be ok to make this promise.
Reply:I usually wear the winners jersey for my humiliation. Funny thing is, it seems that I lose in the years that the Flyers have made it to the finals. See what loyalty gets you.
Reply:Only if you video it for all the world to see...
Reply:Go for it
Reply:Definitely. It'll be nice to see a Sharks jersey in Calgary when we win!!!
0;)
Reply:be sure to bring a video camera.
